Our Puppies!

Our breeding program reflects what drew us to the German Shorthaired Pointers many years ago, the breed's beauty and versatility.  Of equal importance is good health and excellent temperament.  We strive to produce puppies that have the greatest potential to grow up to be loving, long-lived, cherished members of the family and beautiful hunting partners.   

Our breeding stock is tested for all genetic health problems relative to German Shorthaired Pointers.  Puppies are raised in our home and heavily socialized as well as exposed to a multitude of stimuli, giving them a solid foundation. 

We seek homes for our puppies where they will live as part of the family.  While we are very active in the performance world of dogs, we do not require that you compete in any venue with your pup, we are more concerned that pups find their forever homes.  We offer a lifetime of support and guidance and have found that our lives have been enriched with the many friendships we have made through our puppy families.  

If you are not familiar with having a GSP, we strongly urge you to research the breed - we will be the first to admit it is not the right dog for everyone.  This is a breed that is often labelled as "hyperactive" and "destructive" and it is usually because they are not provided with the mental or physical stimulation that this breed needs.  As a hunting breed, there almost always is a strong prey drive for hunting along with the vigor to spend hours running in the field, and those traits need to be challenged.
